Mark Lien

Director
With over 30 years experience Mark has a wide range of exposure to many different facets of the lighting industry. He managed a lighting center providing specification and sales services to industry professionals and end users. He has designed lighting systems for a wide range of applications including roadway and street lighting, residential, retail, healthcare, manufacturing and both conventional and nuclear power plants. He has spent the last decade in lighting education presenting and teaching throughout North America, Asia and the Middle East.
Mark serves on the Board of Directors of the IESNA and has been active in the Illuminating Engineering Society in the Detroit, Chicago and Georgia sections. He has served as chair of the IESNA Progress Committee. He is a member of multiple IESNA, NEMA and ASHRAE Committees and a frequent speaker and teacher at national and international lighting events. His teaching and presentations cover the fundamentals of lighting as well as specific design and application courses with a focus on energy and the environmental effects of light, photobiology, legislation and new technology. Mark is a columnist for Lighting Design + Application magazine.
He has attained the Lighting Certified (LC) designation from the National Council on the Qualifications of Lighting Professionals and is a Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional (CLEP) with the Association of Energy Engineers. In addition Mark is a Certified Lighting Management Consultant (CLMC) with the National Association of Lighting Management Companies and is a LEED Accredited Professional granted by the U.S.Green Building Council. He has attained the new High-Performance Building Design Professional (HBDP) certification from the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
Greg Ortt

With over 22 years of experience in the lighting industry, Greg Ortt began his lighting journey with a distributor and segued to technical support management. An active member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) and owner of the LC credential, Greg teaches annually at the IESNA Street and Area Conference. He has been a guest presenter and has taught at numerous facilities on a wide variety of lighting topics.
Linkoln Dixon
LC, IESNA
Solutions Specialist
A 14-year veteran of the lighting industry, Linkoln's experience ranges from factory support to technical support. In addition to conducting training at the Lighting Solutions Center, he also served as strategic analyst for Prescolite, analyzing industry shifts and trends. An active member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) and owner of the LC credential, Linkoln has a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Southwestern State University.
Suzanne Sylvester
Concierge
In 2007, Suzanne joined Hubbell Lighting to coordinate the activities that make up the customer experience at the Lighting Solutions Center, from training schedules to accommodations. Her background includes tenure as executive assistant and marketing coordinator in a variety of industries. An alumna of Clemson University, Suzanne is now the central hub of all Lighting Solutions Center activity.
